Note: We provide the Minimum 35 contact hours of formal education.
If you don’t meet the eligibility criteria for the PMP Exam, then don’t worry because taking the PMI CAPM (Associate Project Manager) exam doesn’t require any experience as a prerequisite. Hence, you can still take our PMP training to appear for the CAPM exam. Great, isn’t it!
PMI will ask you for two criteria to be eligible to apply for the exam, the 35 contact hours and the 3 years of experience, and when you got these two criteria covered you’re now eligible to apply, you’ll receive an email from PMI with the exam scheduling and instructions and your eligibility code, then just choose your preferred exam date at one of the listed testing centers in your area.
You’ll have to go through 200 Multiple-choice questions to pass the exam, which consists of 4 hours with 10 min break time you can take when you feel appropriate usually after answering 100 questions.
Short answer is right away! Long answer is that candidates who take the exam at a the test center will get their results after they finish the test, but they will have to wait for some time to get the full online report the usual waiting time is no later than 10 working days after you’ve taken the exam, and PMI will notify you with an email telling you when you’re results are ready.
You won’t get a detailed version of what exactly you answered right and wrong, but you’ll get a report that tells you how you did in every section, in addition to the overall pass or fail result.
There two types of test that you can book that PMI with Pearson VUE Center-Based Test (CBT) or the Online- Proctored Testing (OPT), you can schedule your appointment by going to the PMI.org where you’ll find scheduling instructions and date.
You are granted a one-year eligibility period in which to pass the exam. During the eligibility period, you may take the exam up to three times. If you fail to pass the exam three times within your one-year eligibility period, you must wait one year from the date of the last exam you took to reapply for the certification.
There are various ways to reset your PMI ID or password, first of which is contacting Customer services either by phone or there is a live chat feature on PMI’s contact us page on there PMI.org website, the second method is sending an email to customercare@PMi.org, PMI will usually get back to you in 3 to 5 working days.
Pretty straight forward process here you can just go to PMI.org and sign up there
After creating a PMI account log in with your username and password and then you can get your PMI ID, and in more details, after you log in to your account go to MyPMI, click Dashboard, then go to profile, you can find your Member Id or PMI ID there in the list
You can ask for any special accommodations when you are paying for the test.
We have some good news and bad news for you, but to stay optimistic we’ll start with the good one you don’t have to take the test again! Now the bad news is that the PMP certificate will expire in 3 years, and you have to collect 60 of what PMI calls PDUs ( Professional Development Units) in the 3 years duration in order for your certificate to get renewed for another 3 years! There are various ways to collect PDUs which are thoroughly explained in every introduction session we do, so check out when is our next session and join it to know more, and just to tell a little about PDUs until you attend an introduction session, PDUs are essentially 1 hour time unit that you need to spend in reading learning, watching, teaching, or volunteering in several topics centered around project management, also you can go to https://www.pmi.org/certifications/maintain/pdu. To read more about PDUs.
